Thanks for all the efforts of the MPC team!

On tertiary platforms sparc-sun-solaris2.9 and sparc64-sun-solaris2.9, all 
tests passed.

I tested Sun cc 5.5 and gcc-3.4.6 on both platforms.  All four scenarios 
used gmp-4.2.2 and mpfr-2.3.1.
